In order to boost organizational competitiveness and strengthen human capital capability, PMSM Indonesia conducted a benchmarking program to South Korea from May 18 to 24, 2024. The program was attended by 29 participants, including PMSM board members and professionals from various industries and academic institutions.
The delegation visited four prominent institutions: Hanyang University (ERICA Campus), KOSME, Pangyo Techno Valley, and KMAC. Each institution offered valuable insights into university-industry collaboration, tech innovation, SME development, and data-driven organizational transformation.

At Hanyang University, participants observed how academic-industry collaboration drives impactful research and innovation. KOSME introduced digital SME training approaches such as smart factory programs. Pangyo Techno Valley demonstrated how startups are nurtured in a globally connected innovation ecosystem. KMAC emphasized the strategic use of data for organizational improvement and shared common workforce development challenges.
Post-event survey revealed that 100% of participants expressed interest in joining future PMSM benchmarking programs, with the majority rating the content, accommodation, and networking as “excellent.” The insights gained were considered relevant and applicable to their organizational contexts.
PMSM Indonesia believes this program serves as a key milestone in driving organizational transformation in Indonesia through global best practice adoption, human capital development, and international collaboration.
